Sometimes its better the second time around.  Carson Fields has rejoined the UAPB Family as the new Head Coach of the UAPB Linksters the campus golf squad.  After a few years away honing his skills and experience, Coach Fields is more than ready to take the reigns and lead our young men to victory.

Caleb Ray a hotshot up and coming golfer from Cabot signed a National Letter of Intent to play for UAPB on Tuesday.  Ray said he got the opportunity to play at UAPB during the summer. "A lot of practice and my dad called the colleges," Ray said.  "UAPB was the main school with the scholarship offer.  Some other schools were looking at me.  I had some others in mind."  Ray is excited about the opportunity.

Two UAPB Linksters received awards at the 1st Annual Academic Athletic Banquet in recognition of their outstanding performances on the field.  Clarence Love went home with the Letter "A" Club Award as the MVP of the team and freshamn Shane Kelly took home the H.O. Clemmons Award for freshman MVP as well as the Dr. & Mrs. Walter Littlejohn Award.
