Golden Lions Start Season Off As "Road Warriors"

It's tip-off time as the Golden Lions basketball team begins its 2008/2009 sesaon. First year head coach George Ivory has his work cut out for him as he leads the Golden Lions on a quest for the SWAC title. The Golden Lions start this season off with a "road warrior" mentality as the first eleven games are all on the road. The quest begins Friday Nov. 14 in Boulder, CO, as the Golden Lions square-off against the Buffaloes of Colorado. The next game for the Golden Lions will be Nov. 16 in College Station, TX, as Golden Lions take on Texas A&M.
