TUNICA, Miss.-The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lion Golf Team finished their first golf tournament of 2009, on Tuesday, March 10th.The team ventured to the Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, Miss. to compete in the La Moyne Owen College Magicians’ Golf Classic.
The team finished in 3rd place, with three UAPB golfers finishing in the top ten and making the All- Tournament Team individually.
Gregory Robinson a freshman from Tulsa, Okla. was the medalist for Arkansas-Pine Bluff and finished 6th in the tournament. Sophomore Shane Kelly of Fort Myers, Fla. finished 7th and sophomore Medric Spight of Memphis, Tenn. finished 8th.
