Arkansas-Pine Bluff finishes SWAC play with a 2-1 series win over Grambling State

GRAMBLING, La.-The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions baseball team (21-20, 13-11 SWAC) captured a three game series against the Grambling State Tigers and secured the teams first winning season in conference play with the two victories.
UAPB defeated Grambling State 7-2 and 5-4 in games one and two before dropping the series finale to Grambling State 11-4. On the mound UAPB’s Justin Moring notched the victory in game one while Kyle Jones picked up the game two win.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff will now get set to conclude regular season play over the upcoming weeks as they will face Mississippi and Arkansas-Little Rock on April 29th and May 12th respectively.
