UAPB Lady Lions get a big road win versus Grambling State

GRAMBLING, La.- Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated the Grambling State Lady Tigers in game three of a three game series winning 4-2. UAPB fell in games one and two of the series losing 3-1 and 4-1.
UAPB played stellar defense in game three allowing just one run in the bottom of the third and sixth inning. Lacy Kerr notched the victory as she threw a complete game striking out six batters.
Valerie Hegareda tallied two RBI’s during game three while fellow teammates CeCe Kolesar and Lacy Kerr each drove in one run.
The Lady Lions will now get set for a midweek road match-up against Central Baptist on Tuesday, April 7th.
