Curbow named assistant softball coach at UAPB

PINE BLUFF, Ark.- University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff head softball coach Tim Munn recently announced the addition of Kayla Curbow to the Lady Lions’ coaching staff.
Curbow’s main duties with the program will include working with the hitters and infielders, as well as serving as the recruiting coordinator. She will also help in scouting and practice preparation.  
“I’m very excited to have Kayla on the coaching staff,” said Munn. “She brings a wealth of fast-pitch knowledge and experience to the table. Her addition to the staff is just another major step towards moving our program forward.”
A native of Paris, Arkansas, Curbow graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She is currently working on a master’s degree in Sports’ Administration.
While at OBU, Curbow was a three-time Gulf South All-Conference First Team Member as a shortstop. She led the Lady Tigers in hitting during her sophomore campaign posting a .371 batting average.
