PINE BLUFF, Ark.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions Volleyball Team suffered a 3-0 sweep at the hands of the Central Arkansas Bears on Monday night in H.O. Clemmons Arena. The loss to UCA drops the Lady Lions to 0-12 overall for the season.
UAPB dropped the first set 25-6, before losing the second and third sets of the evening 25-9 and 25-13 respectively. Jenitra Shields led all Lady Lions in kills as she tallied 4 kills on 17 total attacks. Mica Franklin racked up 7 assists during the match.
The Lady Lions will travel to Texas later this week where they will face the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers in conference action. UAPB will also participate in the Lady Panthers' Invitational which will take place this Friday and Saturday in Prairie View.
