WICHITA, Kansas- The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions basketball team dropped two non-conference outings to Wichita State and Missouri in non-conference action.
UAPB fell to WSU 68-56 and lost to Missouri by the score of 81-50. The Lady Lions struggled from the field during both outings as they were unable to maintain consistency on the offensive end of the floor.
Shay Holmes led all Lady Lion scorers versus Wichita State tallying 13 points and 5 rebounds while fellow teammate Jasmine Abrams paced the Arkansas-Pine Bluff point production against Missouri netting 13 points and 7 boards.
The two losses drop Arkansas-Pine Bluff to 1-9 on the season. UAPB will close out the non-conference portion of their schedule on Jan 2nd versus Texas.
