ALEXANDRIA, LA – In the semi-final round of the 2010 SWAC Tennis Championships Prairie View A&M upset Arkansas-Pine Bluff 4-2 while the defending 2009 champs Alcorn State Braves took down Grambling State 4-1.
The loss brings about a disappointing end to what had been an undefeated run in conference play for the Golden Lions prior to their loss to PVAMU.
The #1 Braves will face off with the #3 Panthers in tomorrow’s championship match. Arkansas-Pine Bluff concludes their 2010 campaign with a 7-1 record in conference play.
