PINE BLUFF, Ark.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions soccer team will take the field Friday night at 5 pm against the Red Wolves of Arkansas State University. This will be the season opener for the Lady Lions.
“We know that ASU is a very good side, and we will have to be ready for a competitive match,” said Head Coach Roberto Mazza.
The Lady Lions are expecting to have a few freshmen making their first career start against the Red Wolves.
“I expect that the new players will be nervous but I have confidence in their abilities and I believe they will step and perform their jobs tomorrow night,” said Mazza
The Lady Lions following match will be at home Tuesday against the University of the Ozarks at 5 pm.
