PINE BLUFF, Ark.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff baseball team dug deep within on Sunday to capture a thrilling 10-9 victory over the Texas Southern Tigers.
 
After dropping the first two games of the series 9-3 and 6-3 the Golden Lions rallied to win game three in spectacular fashion.
 
Vincent Newton was credited with the victory after a solid outing. The Golden Lions will return to the field on Tuesday in non-conference action against Northeastern at 3:00 pm at the Torii Hunter Baseball Complex.
