Quenton, a proud native of Pine Bluff, AR, joined the Golden Lions Athletics Department in August 2021. He brings extensive experience in sales, sports marketing, and fan engagement.
Before joining the department, Quenton served as a Business Development Manager for Coca-Cola, managing over 100 accounts and collaborating with major clients to achieve sales targets and grow market share within the Home segment.
In his dual roles, Quenton provides strategic leadership for all social media platforms, developing fan interaction initiatives and marketing opportunities to elevate the department's brand awareness across all sports programs. He coordinates and executes marketing campaigns aimed at increasing revenue, attendance, and community engagement.
Quenton plays a vital role in enhancing the overall spectator experience by creating, developing, and implementing game day scripts and themes for both basketball and football. He crafts engaging content and activities that drive excitement and foster a welcoming atmosphere during athletic events.
Additionally, Quenton oversees the sales side of ticketing by developing innovative campaigns for season tickets, mini-plans, on-field premium seating, tailgating, and group packages. He is the Director of the Lions Cub Club, the official kids club for ages 6-12, working to foster relationships with young fans and create memorable experiences that strengthen connections to student-athletes. He also serves as the primary contact for the department’s athletic mascots, Legend and Reign. Quenton's expertise also extends to overseeing all game day operations for all sports.
Quenton has been recognized as an Ambassador for the 2023 SWAC/MEAC Celebration Bowl. He served on the NAATSO Sponsorship Committee for the 2025 NACDA Conference and was a member of the NACMA 2024 Mentee-Mentor cohort, focusing on professional development. Additionally, he served as the Social Media Coordinator for the King Cotton Holiday Classic, one of the nation’s most historic high school holiday tournaments.
He is actively involved in industry organizations, including NACMA (National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators) and NAATSO (National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations). His previous experience includes working as a Box Office Assistant for the Arkansas Travelers, a Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, and participating on the marketing team for the 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
He holds two accredited certifications: one in Sports Marketing from Northwestern State University and another in Sales Operations Management from West Virginia University.
