HOUSTON, Texas- The Lady Lion Volleyball Teams’ struggles continued on the road as they traveled to Texas to square of against Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern in conference action as well as to play in the Prairie View A&M Lady Panther Invitational.
UAPB dropped consecutive matches to the Lady Panthers in tournament play and conference action. Arkansas-Pine Bluff also dropped two non-conference games to Nicholls State and South Alabama losing 3-0 in both outings.
In their final road contest of the five match road swing Texas Southern was able to defeat UAPB 25-22, 25-14 and 25-21. The Lady Lions will have the next couple of days off as they prepare to host Mississippi Valley State in SWAC play.
The match is set for Wednesday, September 30th at H.O. Clemmons Arena located on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
