Jackson, Miss.- Arkansas-Pine Bluff came away with a hard fought Southwestern Athletic Conference victory Saturday, defeating Jackson State 46-44.

Mitchell Anderson led all UAPB scorers with 17 points and six rebounds. Daniel Broughton also chipped in 11 points and five rebounds. The Golden Lions trailed Jackson State 27-20 at intermission. Arkansas-Pine Bluff outscored JSU 26-17 in the second half.

The men's basketball team will play their last regular season road game on Monday as they travel to Louisiana to play Grambling State at 7:30 pm.
